Default X-rite ColorChecker Passport

I just got this from my photography loving elderly brother -

X-rite ColorChecker Passport

Does anyone use it? Is it useful ? It also has a grey card as one of the sides of the "passport".

I'd like to hear some opinions/experiences with this one.

I don't use that but I use the i1Display 2 from them to set the color profile on my monitor.

Just took a webinar from the people at X-Rite and Blurb. This product was explained and it looks good enough that I am ordering one. Basically it is used to set the white balance. And even if you shoot in raw it still makes a difference, they say. They have a lot of educational videos and info on their site.

I use their EyeRite(?) - the cheaper model - to set my monitors and the printing has greatly improved.
