I've been trying to capture a non-murky full moon shot. I have a Canon 5D, 200mm lens. I took off all my filters, iso of 320, spot metered, f2.8, tripod and still all I have to show for it is a blurry moon with a huge halo. Any ideas other than leaving it to the pros?

Here's a thread about shooting a full moon:
http://www.designerdigitals.com/digi...-photo-op.html In the link to her blog, Katrina gives some great tips. I got a pretty good shot last month using her instructions. Here's the page I did about it: Neverending Quest - Digital Scrapbooking Ideas - DesignerDigitals Happy shooting!

I remember your layout from last month too! I checked the newspaper weeks ago and marked the next full moon for this month because of it...LOL. I'll try again tonight...thanks so much for the links.
