Default Photowalk Pictures...Please

I'm so excited for all of you that were able to take part in the World Wide Photowalk yesterday. I hope you'll each post a link to your sets at Flickr or another site so that I (and everyone here at DD) can see them. I was able to look at Aino's through Facebook and got to see Tel Aviv! What a delight it will be to see where you walked.

P.S. If you provide a Flickr thread, make sure your photos are marked that anyone can view them. Oh boy! I can't wait!

What a great idea Susie! And thank you -

I had a great time! Here is my Flicker thread from yesterdays photowalk in Tel Aviv. We were a group of 50 or so enthusiasts - we certainly made an impression on the people who were hanging out in the coffeeshops.

Fabulous shots, Aino -- you have such a good eye. My fav is the one looking up at the curving balconies.

Here's my Flickr set from the Mt. Dora walk yesterday. It was hot as Hades so I left a little early. All the pics are SOOC.

What fun to see all the photos!!

Randy - your photos are great! Didn't you have a D700 before? Have you upgraded?
Again, I love the HDR. Some guys did HDR on my walk too.

Linda - LOVE your photos - I can't believe you get such lovely colors SOOC - what lens are you shooting with? What are your settings on the camera?
Really nice shots - love the chocolate ones... yummy.

Sam - do I HAVE to tell that I would love to photowalk with you in SA???? What an experience.

Still using that too. When shooting events I keep my 16-35 on the D700 and the 70-200 on my D3s.

Mmmm, figured you were using both.

I plan to keep my D90 too when I get the D700. In case I make a reality out of "going commercial" with my photography.

Awww man I'm so jealous of you guys! I didn't get to participate yesterday and I was so looking forward to participating for the first time this year, but was stuck traveling to Louisville for work. I'm gonna go check out your pics now.

Wow great photos guys!

Aino---my favorite was the balconies too and the angry dog and loved the perspective of the glasses!

Randy--loved the walker, the reflection and the HDRs!

Linda---loved the paint brushes, the home with that metal dome? with the weather vane?, and i forgot the proper name for those walking scooters.

You guys have inspired me to find sometime while I'm here in Louisville to do my own little photo walk! Thanks for sharing!

I really liked seeing your photos Aino, Randy and Linda. I am at the lake this week-end or I would have attended one of these, too. There were 2 in my area.

Wonderful photos everyone

Aino: You captured Tel Aviv so wonderfully. It looks like such a magical place I would love to travel there some day

Randy: Are these all HDR? The texture is amazing

Linda: Loved all your photos. The colors were wonderful. Did you walk a bit and then duck into a shop? That is so what I would have done yesterday :-)

Thank you for your kind words, Aino. I shot with my 24-70mm, mostly on aperture priority. I know I got a little carried away with the chocolate shots, but if I can't eat them, at least I can photograph them!

Thank you, Donna! Mt. Dora is full of interesting little shops, so yes, I did duck into the shops every chance I got. (The air conditioning was a big draw, too!) Some shop owners didn't want me taking photographs, but some of them didn't mind.

Sam, I was able to link up to yours on Facebook like I did Aino's. Linda, Randy thank you for sharing. How fun to see South Africa, Tel Aviv, Mt. Dora and York through all of your photos. Thank you so much for the links. All four of you are fantastic photographers. I hope others see this thread and post their photo walks. In the meantime I'm off to Scott Kelby's site to view any posted pictures. Maybe next year for me, I hope.

Click on the Set and then there is an option of slideshow in the right upper corner.
