Question Favorite lens

What's your all-time favorite lens? The lens you cannot live without?

(And are you on a full frame camera?)

I'm using a Nikon D200 which is not full frame.. my absolute favorite is my 50mm f1.4.. I had a 50mm f1.8 for years and years and when it finally gave up the ghost I dropped everything to run to the local camera store to replace it.

It seems that I took my cue from Randy, my 24-70mm is the only lens I have on all the time. I still throw on my 90mm (for Macro) and sometimes my 50mm (for bad lighting), but mostly I use the above

Yep, 24-70mm f2.8 lens all the way. And yes, full frame camera.

Count me in with the 24-70mm f/2.8 crowd! Love that lens. I still use my 50 mm, but not nearly as much as I used to! Not full frame yet ... my husband would not mind me upgrading, but I can't justify it yet as I've only had my 40D for 2 years. I'm upgrading my lenses first!

I guess I should answer my own question...
I recently bought the Sigma 24-70 f/2.8, and I'm in love! I'm on a 40D,
so it's less wide angle than it would be on a full frame, but as I tend to take photos in the other end, it's perfect for me!
I haven't taken it off since I got it...

BTW, Sigma has just released an 85 mm f/1.4... I'm dying to test that...

Another vote for the 24-70mm 2.8 =) I use that one most of the time and I have a 50mm 1.2 for indoor shots. I have a zoom but hardly ever use it.

My 28-75mm f2.8 also! I don't have a 1.4 prime lens but that might be next.

I use my 35mm 1.8 the most because I shoot indoors a lot. Wish I had the 28-75!

Another Randy follower here...24-70 F2.8 on full frame canon.I used to love my 50mm f1.4 but since it was fixed it's kinda a little um softer.
