Sarah, I'm so sorry for your loss. Yes, grab a friend and do your own photo walk at a later time.

Well I'm back from our photo walk today. It was really fabulous. We photographed from 3pm to 5pm, I took 149 shots. Grey overcast skies, fabulous looking clouds, still water on the bay, along the water front, the yacht club, the painted bollards, 17 walkers, we ended up back where we started for coffees. Then I drove 2 hours home. And I'm absolutely exhausted.

Hope everyone else enjoys themselves today.

How old is your grandboy? Not sure of the people on the walk with you but I think they may have enjoyed a pair of young eyes. DS is only 5 and not ready yet, but as I was walking today, I thought it would be fun to go with him. Maybe in a year or two.

I had a great time in Moline IL. We started out with rain, which made things a little tricky and everyone kinda got separated until we met for lunch.

There was one gentlman that was doing three photowalks I was exhausted after just one, and it was so unbelievably humid here.

I had a wonderful time on my photo-walk, yesterday and I was also exhausted after it. We had a very small group in Oakville, Ontario -mostly due to the fact that our leader just got his permission to head up a group one week before. It was interesting that 2 people who met on Fickr have paired up for several photo walks in the past few years. They have a 3 person who couldn't be there yesterday but is normally with them on shoots. They like to photograph abandoned buildings and meet up whenever one of them spots one. They make a call to one another and then they flock to where ever it is. Next year they are flying to Boston for the WW PhotoWalk! How funny is that they met up like this. After our photo walk they were going to go to a Roller Derby to photograph that on their own. I can't wait to see their pictures!
Hope all had as good a time as I did and altho it was muggy we didn't get any rain till we were safely inside a nice restaurant.
