Need LR help
LR 2 wont open my .nef files from the sd card taken with the D300s but opens them fine from the D40x
Cant seems to get anywhere with google... anyone have any tips??

I had the same problem with these proprietorial files too. I ended up opening them up with Nikon's software -but Scott Kelby explains that you can import them into LR as .dng files and then LR will see them. HTH

Make sure that you have the latest version of camera raw installed.

Also, there is a firmware update for your camera (1.01). Make sure that you have that installed if it is not.
