Default Lightroom presets

The question about whether we're upgrading to LR3 or not got me wondering what everyone's favorite LR presets are and where you get most of yours from. I've barely downloaded the trial and have been playing around with it a little. So I would even love some links to basic lightroom tutorials too!

Do not ask me how many presets I have....it's just embarassing. The free ones that I would suggest are Matt's (as mentioned by Katrina) and Sarah Ji (google her and lightroom presets and you should find them). I have also - gulp - purchased a few different sets: One Willow (my current hands down go to the most, they are like recipes that you put together!) and Pretty Presets (which was my favorite last month - lol).

Here's a link to Katrina's Lightroom Tutorial and Aino listed a bunch of great Lightroom preset sites here.

You'll love Lightroom! I can't edit photos without running them through LR first

Adobe has a page of links for presets and other things that work with LR3:

Adobe - Photoshop Lightroom 3: Plug-ins

Check it out. i just got hardcopy of LR3 and installed it tonight. Yesterday I downloaded the presets from OnOne and they are interesting because they can be "layered". There is so much out there is is wise to find out what people's favs are...

I like Seim's Old Holga and the other free ones of their's I have tried.

That is too sweet

I'm working on a tutorial that will help you create your own and might just include one or two of my own! I am a bit of an editing minimalist though!

Oh Katrina -that is wonderful! I have your Tut on LR -but must admit, since I am in the middle of a busy golf season (my family owns a golf course) I have been too busy to read it yet. I am looking forward to an hour of rest sometime this weekend and will devour it.

Thanks guys! I bought Katrina's tutorial and downloaded Matt's presets. I'll start with that and see where I get!

After editing in LR, I'm editing in PSE. However, it says the file size is 240ppi. Don't I want it at 300?
