Default Photo Restoration Software

Can anyone recommend a photo restoration software that's easier to use than Photoshop?

Why don't you want to use Photoshop? Photoshop Elements is slightly easier to use than Photoshop CS because it has less tools. As an added advantage it has a range of automatic photo fix options. Restoring photos can be quite difficult. I've tried out lots of tutorials that I've found on the web and learned heaps. These tutorials were all for Photoshop and were quite easy to follow using PSE.
