I did it.
I just bought a new camera!!!!! It has been MUCH needed for a LONG time. I've been working with the Nikon d40x for a few years. I know it like the back of my eyelids, and I know it's limitations clearly. It was a great starter camera but I dreadfully needed to upgrade. And I finally did it. I went with the D300s and still a little unsure if I should have saved more pennies for the D700...but I think the D300s will get me through a year or so in business. Now I just have to wait 'till it shows up on my doorstep on Monday

oh awesome. i have the D300 and love it, but yeah I itch a bit for the D700 too. you will love the upgrade though
