Default Suggestion for a kid's Camera

Have any of you gotten cameras for your kids? I have 4 and 3 year old boys and want to get an inexpensive P&S shoot to take on vacation for them to use (with supervision). I like the idea of the kid tough cameras but have read that the quality is not good so I want to steer away from them and get a simple P&S. Any Suggestions?

I just went through this exact issue with my kids. Santa gave my girl (4) our old Canon P and S. This worked well until my son (3) dropped it. (it wasn't really working well anyway to be fair.)
We've just purchased a second hand nikon cool pix that cost $20.00. It works well and we needed a camera that my husband can use as well. (LOL)
Hope this one lasts a bit longer though.

The Kodak Easyshare Z series camera are fairly inexpensive, pretty sturdy and very easy to use. I've had one for several years now and it's been bounced around pretty good by my then 7 yr old and now my husband and it keeps working.

LOL!

I'm in for a camera for my daughter as well, but I'm leaning towards a kid camera. And as my daughter is a Hello Kitty fan, I guess that's the kind of camera we'll get. I have no idea how the image quality is, though. But for her it's all about seeing it on the LCD screen, so it's not the most important thing.

Canon has a small camera that's supposed to be dust, water and "bump" safe, but I don't remember it's name, or whether it would be ok for a child.
