Well, he has a little bit of attitude, but it is good for me to be given permission to use my auto settings on my camera and not be considered a second class citizen. I've read books, even taken classes, watched the tutorials, etc., urging me to forsake automatic. No matter what, I miss the shots of those fast-moving DGC unless I'm on auto! And when it comes right down to it, even the worst picture I take with my DSLR on auto or even my DP&S, is far superior to 99% of the pictures I took 30 years ago when I had an SLR that demanded manual setting, or 15 years ago with any P&S.

This was very refreshing. TFS

I shoot in Auto a lot and love it. I know how to use the settings, but in my business i don't have time to fiddle with settings only to miss the shot.
