I used it in PSE with a blue gradient instead of soft light, and it worked really well.

Wow . . . that is a terrific bit of know-how, Randy. thanks so much for the link!


I used Katie's Cloudscapes No. 02 Paper pack to replace a totally grey sky in this layout a couple of years ago. I deleted the sky totally and placed Katie's sky in a layer under my photo. I probably used my soft eraser to blend it into the background. It saved the photo of our grandson for me to use.

I would use the technique that Randy gave us if I could . . . but with no clouds at all and a washed out grey sky, Katie came to my rescue!

Love that save for the sky!!!!! Can't wait to try it myself as well as the hot tip Randy has passed on to us. Love those guys at Kelby!

Randy, you're "kewl" for using the word, kewl!!!!!! That was a "kewl" video!!! I wonder if i can do that in PSP???? Maybe i should just bite the bullet and get PSE or something.... hmm... don't know if it's in the budget right now...
Does anyone else think the guy talked really fast????? I may need to watch a few more times... but very..... kewl what he did to the sky!!!
