Three of us met on Sat for a photwalk through the Springs Reserve in Las Vegas and it was most wonderful! It was wonderful to meet IRL Elena and Shellb. But also it was a magical feeling to walk around and take photos with others who were doing the same-
So, I guess the moral of the story is---if you have an opportunity to go out with friends and walk and talk and laugh and snap photos - do it, you won't be disappointed!

That's so wonderful that the three of you were able to do that together. It would be so nice to be with someone who doesn't look at me like I have three heads everytime I take a photo of anything they deem 'out of the ordinary' :-)

What a lovely time you must have had. I remember meeting up with Esther. I loved how we could photograph the same thing and look at it later and the photos were completely different. Did you get a photo of all of you together?

How lovely! Yes, Carol and I know how much fun that is! It's like going on a shopping trip with a BFF but way cheaper!!

Yup... it was totally fun meeting Valerie and Michelle and I can't wait to see how different our photos are of the same flowers! Of course, they both had telephoto/zoom lenses (is that even the right term?) and I was constantly squatting and lying in the dirt! I'm sure we will do it again

I love get-togethers like that and miss the ones I used to have with some on-line cooking buddies. I can't wait to see the pictures that disprove the "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" motto!

A shopping trip that costs far less-yes that is what it was like! What a great comparison-and actually finally a shopping trip I could afford and feel absolutely no guilt about!!!!
