Default What kinda Camera is in your bag?

I was curious to know what type of camera everyone uses? I am not the photographer in the relationship, my fiancé is. I just have a point-and-shoot. He has a Canon Rebel XS Digital SLR with 18-55mm, 28-90mm, and 75-300mm lenses. Do you think I know what that means, I think not. He just told me and I typed it. Haha. He takes almost all of our photos and I scrap it.

sounds like a great relationship! My dh and I both take pictures, but I'm the scrapper! I use a Nikon D90 and mostly my 17-55mm lens, his camera's a little fancier but way to heavy for me

I only wish . . . my DH won't touch my camera, even if I dial in the settings and hand it to him ready to go. We don't have a P&S, though we really need one!

I am the odd man out with a Sony A200, 18-70mm and 75-300mm lenses. I really want the 50mm 1.7 and the Tamron 18-200mm as well.

The two of you make a good team. My DH doesn't take photos, I've tried getting him interested by buying him a point and shoot to take hunting, but even that didn't work. I have the Nikon D60 in my bag.

I have a Nikon D60 in my bag. If I put the camera on auto and the correct lens, DH can depress the right button to capture an image. He is camera challenged.

Well, I think you have the perfect relationship... he shoots, you scrap! Although I love photography (not that I'm any good!) it'd be so nice to not always be the one having to do both!

And, I think all my photog specs are in my siggy... I'm lazy. hehehe

Consider yourself LUCKY!!!!! I'm the picture taker in our family..... so there are really no pictures of me... hardly anywhere!!!!!! And if there are, it's because i asked someone to take a picture of my family or w me and my kids... It's hard being the coordinator of the activities, photographer, mom, etc, etc, etc.....
I have a Canon Rebel XS

It does sound like you have the best relationship, plus you have pictures of yourself. I'm the photographer and the scrapper, but my husband will occasionally take pictures. My specs are in my signature.

I'm the photographer and the scrapper in our family; not sure which I enjoy more. My camera specs are in my signature; I also carry and use my iPhone camera a lot!

We have two cameras now. We just acquired a Canon EOS 500D (a Canon Rebel T1i) with a 18-55mm lens, and a 55-250mm lens. DH is scared to use it so he still picks up our Fuji Finepix S5600.

I am the photographer in the family too. My DH will happily use the camera, but if I've been playing with the settings and he pushes the buttonand it doesn't do what he expects, he gets frustrated easily.

I have Canon EOS 40d with 28 -105mm, 50mm 1.4, and 100-300mm Lenses. I also have a Canon EOS3 film camera which I love but dont get to use anymore

I'm the photographer although my husband is an artist and has a better eye for composition than I have. Lately he's been telling me where to stand to take some shots and I'm usually glad he did. I've got a 7D and a 24-70 Canon lens, and right now I'm working pretty intensely on my photography, which often means it just seems to be getting worse!

My DH never takes photos unless I beg him to, so I'm also almost never in photos either. This is changing this year!

I have a Canon 40D, a GREAT camera and I usually use a 28-135mm lens.
