my lockers photo - been picked up for a school musical
I just got a flickr message from a teacher at a school in California asking if they can use my lockers photo for their school production!
Having not been asked to share photos before I'm a bit unsure what to do. I'm happy to give it to them to use (in the spirit of cooperation between schools) but I should include some sort of message that says things like "I grant .... school the right to use this image for the purpose of their school production. No copies of this image may be used for any other purpose or forwarded to any other ... This image remains the.... of Esther..." Does anyone have a link to any such statement? Should I just adapt one of the license agreements in one of my DD digital kits?!

Congrats, Esther! I remember that photo and it is wonderful!
You can send them a standard release form stating they have one time usage rights for a certain photo, size, etc. These are easy to find on the internet. If you can't, let me know and I can send you one. Also, you can add that info right into the image's file info as a double protection. It's nice of you to share and nice that they love your photo!

Oh Esther, how absolutely fabulous. I think you should write them and tell them they can use the photo only if they send you a plane fare to see the musical and see them using your photo for yourself. ;-) hahahaha
