What a great idea for a photo challenge. Admittedly, since getting my 35mm prime lens, I have not gone above an f stop of about 2.8...so playing with 8.0 will test me to try something new. Fun!

That is a great challenge, Katrina. I like the idea that it is a "story telling" aperture. :O)

I had to respond Katrina and Kelly because after I read that last night, I couldn't sleep ! Sure, its the storytelling aperature, why hadn't I heard that before? I cant wait to begin.

I will have to admit that I had no idea there was a "storytelling aperture." i love the idea of that! I played with it today, but didn't quite have enough light to capture preschoolers in that aperture. Will definitely keep it in mind though! I usually keep my lens at 2.8, so this is a great challenge for me!

If you are having a hard time getting enough light, don't be afraid to bump your ISO up some. A little grainy story works too!
