night scene vs. night snapshot

What's the difference? LOL
My pas camera (canon powersot a530) has a setting for night scene. But if you go into the scene settings, one of them is night snapshot. The only thing I can think of is scene would be like landscape at night and snapshot is for a person or object outside?

Hmmm... well I just looked at them and the functions. The night scene lets you change lighting and flash output but the night snapshot you can't adjust anything (excpet the drive mode).
