Default Advice needed - Looking for good P&S..

Hi all I'm looking for a good point and shoot to compliment (read keep in my purse) my 20D. Any suggestions? Everytime I walk into a store I get completely overwhelmed.

Thanks,
Maria

I'm thinking about getting the Canon G11. I have a friend who has the G10, the prior version, and his photos are fantastic!

I just bought the G11 for work. It's a wonderful little camera with lots of manual features. Highly recommend Canon for their P & S's. I have an even smaller Digital Elph model that I get great shots with. Also has many manual features. I don't think you will go wrong.

I have to Lumix FZ28 which is a great camera and really happy with it, the review in the newer model the FZ35 are strong, but want to stretch myself this year and buy a DSLR. Just to toss another idea in the ring why not look at buying a P&S that is waterproof, dust proof etc. Did not note where you lived but for us we go to the beach a fair bit, kayaking, swimming etc and would love to be able to take pics of the kids without worrying about dust, water etc. So plan to get a p&S for my purse when I get my DSLR that will fill in that void. Good luck in the hunt!
