Default Fabulous Canon repair service...my camera is home : )

and it was only gone for a little over a week, even with the holiday.
Somehow the CF card reader pins were damaged. They replaced the housing, cleaned my unit and checked out everything else. The repair was just under $200.00 - which I completely expected.

Now I can quit moping about having to use my little point and shoot and be happy again!

glad your camera is back home again. I've had a Canon repair before and I was also very impressed with the speed and the thorough cleaning. Enjoy!

Mary, that's fantastic! It is good to know that it might not take 8 weeks if I ever have a problem. :O)

Hey, Mary. Was it a mail service? Can you share? just in case I ever need it. Thanks. Such a relief to think a service for our children/best friends could be so reliable!!

glad to hear it all went well especially since I'm a Canon girl also. Have fun with the new, cleaned up, fixed up machine!
