I'll at least have mine outside of our house (G&G come over and hand out candy by us while we take the munchkin out - so we always have to start with our house as "practice"!)

Me! I'm back from round one trick-or-treating with my kids and their friends. We do a few houses in their neighborhood and then they come to ours. I opted to be the parent helper for the brighter part of the evening. Wonder why? I'll have to check after I'm done with candy-doling duties!

Although Shannon is actually going trick-or-treating... (yes, I know she's almost 16, but the girls just wanna have fun... and get some candy! )... she won't let me tag along and take photos! Imagine that!

didn't carry it. I did take pictures of them outside our house before starting. but usually I end up carrying dd and I don't want to harm the camera - althought this year she walked the whole time, and only with a little whining. Maybe next year.

I took a picture of the kids earlier in the day when it was light out and DIDN'T take the camera when we went out later. I generally do not have good luck taking pictures in the dark so I just wanted to walk and enjoy the evening. So, this morning my son came into bed with us and started saying he wished it was still yesterday (Trick-or-treating) and I said but we will have our memories. The first thing that came out of his mouth was "but you didn't take any pictures!" Sometimes you just can't win. He complains about me taking too many pictures and then he complains about me not taking any! :-)

I don't trick or treat because I don't have any kids but I was seriously impressed by one very young mom & dad who had 3 girls and she took some shots. I hate being photographed but I couldn't help but smile thinking I might be in someone's scrapbooking LO. The girls were soooo cute. The littlest one was on her dads shoulders and her face was green with pixie stick dust.
