Got Digital Photography 3 Kelby book in the mail today...
Has a whole chapter dedicated to sports photography... and a recipe or two. Pretty good book from what I've paged through- like the first two.

Ohh ... I didn't realize he had a 3rd book out. I liked the first 2 (especially the 1st).
