So, in about an hour I am leaving the house for the photowalk in Tel Aviv! I am really excited! Get out of the house to do something BY MYSELF on a saturday afternoon!!! Yoohoo!! I have a big bottle of water in the freezer to take with me - it is a very hot day here in Israel today. Oh and the camerabag is lightly packed (one camera with lens, money, keys, phone), hat, good shoes and I won't forget sunscreen lotion.

Can't wait to hear see what photos you all take! Have fun!

well I am back from our photowalk. Full group, with some AWESOME photos. Sad the leaders can't upload their images ! Will put some on my blog later today.

we had fun and was nice to meet everyone. One lady - who had emailed me in advance - is from Arkansas and is on holiday here. So she has decided every year she is going to do the photo walk in a different country. What fun

Tell me about your walk.

I am also back! Just got back home - starving, tired and happy. Everyone here is asleep, so now I am about to make me a sandwich and upload my photos. I can't wait to see everyone's photos.

We had a nice group, with both professionals and amateurs with point-and-shoot. It was terribly warm in the beginning (but then I am not able to walk slowly and "pay for it") . I didn't know anyone but got in touch with several of them and the organizer of our group in Tel Aviv already was talking about organizing another walk in October when the temperatures are cooler. How cool is that!!

This was so much fun!

I have uploaded a "few" of my photos on my blog if you care to pop over and have a look at a peek of inner city life Johannesburg.

That’s life…that’s what it’s all about

Those are fantastic Sam! Really enjoyed looking at those - a different world indeed! I have gone through my photos and edited some. But I am too tired now, so I will finish and put up a link for you all to see photos from Tel Aviv perhaps tomorrow.

My daughter and I joined a group in Atlanta along with Heather G. and her husband.
We got separated, though! I can't wait to see Heather's pics.
Our leader was not very sociable. But we still had a good time and wound up (just Katy and me) spending about an hour at the fountain here that is a remnant of the 1996 Olympics. It's a people watching nirvana. I'll try to make something tonight to post.
Sam, your pics of Jo'burg are great! So much fun to see everyone's home towns.

15. Lakeland Florida. I had a great time but it was really HOT! Linda can I join you in Dunedin next year? I almost chose that location but decided that I wanted to try Hollis Gardens in Lakeland.

And the Estes Park walk did not happen for me... family things "happened" and that had to be my priority. I will do my own walk in the Park one day soon. Bummer...
