Default 365 Too Much?

So you've probably heard that some of us are on day 169 or so of our 365 challenge! Is everyday too much for you? Does it seem overwhelming?

How about trying a 7 day challenge! Yep, just 7 days. Join us in our flickr group. Post a photo a day for the next 7 days (6/21-6/28) and get a little taste of our fun!

You can get there with the big pink F at the bottom of the page! I hope you'll join in!

I initially thought it would be too much Katrina, and now I feel lost until I've documented my photo. It's become a very important part of my day, and not nearly as time consuming as I would have thought. My 365 pages have become my journal of sorts, and I only wish I would have started sooner.

For those who haven't tried, it's really no disaster if you miss a day. The point is to just document as often as you can. And like anything, the more you do it, the more it will become a habit! We'd love to have you!

I feel just like Myra does ... I missed a day this week, so I (cheated) and took a photo the next day of what I did the day before.

I love having the photos to remember what I was doing ... especially since I cannot remember what I ate for supper the night before last!

I am doing the 365 book here at DD ... but I am dreadfully behind. The POTD shots will make it much easier to catch up when I have time to scrap again!

I hope that some of you will join in Katrina's idea of just doing a shot a day for 7 days.

I love it too... I have cheated plenty of times... but I had the idea of the picture in my head... just didn't get around to it. I love that my family is going to be able to look back and see what were were up to on a particular day.

I am including so many photos that I would never make an entire page about =)

But, I think a seven day challenge would be fun too... especially for those who wanted to do the 365 but didn't start in time =)

I might jump in there and attempt 7 days. Surely I can manage that?!
Thanks for inspiring us, Katrina.

I've really missed posting every day! Since tomorrow is July 1, it sounds like a good time to start the flickr post again.

Thanks for starting this Katrina.

I do think July is a good time to start, right at the beginning of the 2nd half of the year. I wasn't ready to deal with this in Jan, but I agree that this is a good jump start.

Deciding on a template first was a good help to me in doing my travel pages, and I think I'll consider that now.

I've tried to take a few more photos, but I'm too busy to do one per day, and when I've made myself find something usually it looks crap! So I've just posted a few of the better ones. I definitely need a new lens, lightroom, and some more skill and time!! I hope it doesn't matter that I fall a long way short of a photo a day.

I like this. I was doing 365 and got behind so I felt like a failure and didn't go back. I'm glad to be re-inspired by this challenge.

Thanks!

I love the 365 project! I don't post all of my photos to the DD group at Flickr, but I have taken a photo almost every day ( I have missed 2 so far). Some days my photos are terrible and I have try to pick the best among all of the bad ones, but some days they are great. I know that I have captured photos that I will cherish in the years to come and that my photography skills have really improved from the daily practice. So if you haven't started yet jump in for a week, the month, the rest of the year. I am certian you won't regret it!
