I think I'm going to do it. I'm already doing Project 365 and trying to carry my camera everywhere - this class fits in perfectly with that!

Class starts tomorrow, and I'm expecting a direct deposit either tomorrow or the next day - can't sign up until I get that - they don't close registration when class opens, do they?

I am now too. Thanks to Katrina, Debbie and Mel for the giveaway on Mel's blog. I'm so excited

Chris, I signed up and I'm also on slow dial up. Katrina mailed me a sample file, it was slow, but do able. You may want to check the Library out there, most have high speed internet to use for free.

Thanks Connie - that's a great idea. I'm not sure how far the library is from me in NH, but there's a senior center with Internet access about half hour away that I'll look into.
I'm packing to leave Maryland right now, so will check into DD from far up North in a couple of days!

I know I'm late and it already started, but it says registration is still open. SO I'm thinking about signing up, but wonder if I should wait since I'm leaving on vacation in 2 days-for a week. Any thoughts??? I'm not sure if I'll have internet access or not.

Oh and I don't have a SLR, but I do have a camera that can go off of auto into AV and a few other modes. So maybe it's not the class for me since I don't have a full fledged camera yet.

I signed up at the last minute, knowing I would be gone and my participation would be limited. I'm so glad I did. Katrina's lessons are hands on and, as someone on the forum mentioned, Katrina translates the manuals into English. All lessons are downloadable and very practical so I highly recommend jumping in. Katrina's information she stores in her lovely mind, is too good to pass up.

JUST signed up! Hopefully I'll have chance to put some new knowledge to work while I'm on vacation!
