Photowalk lens
Since we are going on a photowalk in San Antonio, what lens does everyone recommend? I sure hope to have my 70-200 2.8 by then, but I'm afraid it would be too heavy. I have a great 28 -300 lens, but I am realizing that I don't like the focus on it all that much. What a quandry!

I was recently in San Antonio and I used my 24-70.

I will probably use my 17-40 during the day if there is good light and get my 50mm 1.4 out for evening/indoor stuff.
Unless of course the lens fairy visits me before August!

Wait, what is this about a photo walk in San Antonio? I am only 75 miles from there, so if you are all meeting up, please share the info! I don't know which lens I would choose, probably my 18-200 since it's my best zoom lens.

Heidi, Katrina said that she would do a photowalk on Saturday for those who stay the extra time, after the DD crop in San Antonio in August so since you are so close, hope to see you there.

Aha! I really, really hope I can be there. I'm going to check the dates right at this moment. It would be a huge shame to miss it!
