Default Lightroom users?

All of a sudden when I try to import my images straight from my camera it gives me an error message the files are not supported or they are damaged. Yet, if I just open the camera file and drag and copy them on to my EHD that works just fine.

Any thoughts? I am using Lightroom 2.

I get a similar message from time to time. It says the file is missing. Maybe try googling exactly what your error message says. I bet there's an answer!
Good luck

Tried googling it and not finding my specific error message. Is ACDSEE support raw images... because it won't open in that for me either =(

So, praying nothing is wrong. This is from a Maternity shoot that took me 3 hours yesterday. This is the first time I have shot in raw with my new 50D.

I am currently running the update but it didn't say anything that looked like it would help.

Ah...didn't know you had a new camera!
Let me know if the update works. I had to do that, too, before LR 2 would recognize my RAW files.
The problem I'm having now is a bit different from yours and I hope I can figure it out.

Beautiful photos, Jen. I love the black and white one too. And thanks for the information-I have been shooting in jpg. with my 50D until I got some more storage. I now have no excuse to not shoot in raw. I'm sure I would have had the same trouble with LR. So thanks for posting and solving a problem for the rest of us.
