If you haven't joined us over at the DD Flickr group, May is great month to start! Melanie is kicking off a P{erson} of the Day Challenge. Take a picture of a person each day for 7 days, 30 days, 365 days, whatever works for you! Share them with us! Get critiques/help if you'd like! We'd love to see you over there!

And if you don't want to do P{erson} of the Day other P's are welcome! Some that have been suggested so far:

I'd love to join in. I'm not at all familiar with flickr. I don't see a pink F. Maybe I should find my glasses. lol Could someone give me an overview of how it all works. I need something to get me motivated. Thanks!!

Flickr DD Picture of the Day Group

Hi Karen! Just a quick overview

1. Sign up for a flickr.com acount
2. Join the DD POTD group (link above or pink F at the bottom of the page)
3. Upload a photo a day or as often as you are able
4. "share" the photo with the group
5. Ask questions/post comments on others

Flickr is a very large photo community and our POTD group is a small corner of it. You can set privacy so only people in our group see your photos or set them to public, up to you, we have members who do both. We are a supportive group working on improving our photography skills in a low pressure environment.

It is fun to see photos become pages over here too!

I was going to do a combination of P{eople} and P{ets} as my kids are gone most of the day, my husband doesn't want his photo taken (have to respect his wishes as he spoils me rotten), and our cats/dog are always here. However, I've been thinking, my daughters friends are here just about everyday ... so I"ll have more people to choose from! P{erson}OTD may just work!
