Hi all. I just got a Canon G10. I have no idea how to use it, but I'm trying to learn
![]() Anyway, I could use a case or bag for it. I really like the Crumpler bags, but I'm not sure they're actually what I need. I really only need to carry the camera and memory cards. My confusion is that I have a 3 year old who is still in diapers (pull-ups for now - PLEASE let him be potty trained soon!) and I always need other stuff. For example, we're going to WDW in June and this is the bag I'll be carrying for our "stuff." http://www.bagsbuy.com/baggallini-me.../121625/285296 I need something for my new camera. If I buy a Crumpler, say a 1M Dollar Home or a Bundle (small or medium I would think), is that overkill? Is there something else I should put the camera into? Thanks

Tara... I have TWO Crumplers!
They rock! That being said, I have no idea how big or small your new camera is, so I'm not sure size-wise what would work for you! Crumpler's website has sizes posted so make sure you get one that's big enough for the camera. I just Googled the G10 and it looks smaller than my Digi Rebel, but bigger than a compact point-n-shoot. And, looking at the two bags you're contemplating, it would appear that both would work. The $1Million Bag seems like it would have more room in it... cell phone, keys, makeup, wallet, new camera (hahaha) might fit in there, too. Might be worth it... just check the sizes to make sure your camera would fit! That being said... is a Crumpler an over-kill? I don't think so... they're cool looking AND they seriously protect your camera. Whatever camera you might have! And at $35, give or take, I say 'go for it'! I have a $4Million Home and a $6Million Home... the $4M holds my Rebel + one lens. I take that to soccer games... camera + zoom. The $6M holds the camera + THREE lens + room to spare! They are seriously soooooooooo well-made, sturdy, padded, the Velcro and buckles on them are strong... it's just an all-around good bag. In my humble opinion, of course! ![]() Oh, and if you order it and it's the wrong size or whatever, the Crumpler peeps are very, very helpful... their customer service is as good as their bags! (Can you tell I love Crumpler? hehehe)

I have the 4 and 5 "million dollar homes". The 4 is a tight squish for DSLR + something else. The 5 is big enough for DSLR and a few other accessories.
I originally bought the 4 for a point-and-shoot and compact video camera. My sister bought an even larger one as a diaper bag, etc. Have you been to Crumpler's home website? They have illustrations showing how much you can fit in each bag: www.crumpler.com.au Esther

I recently purchased the crumpler 7 million dollar bag and LOVE it! You can rearrange the inside however you wish, so it would be perfect for a combo diaper bag and camera bag. My boys are 9, but I still seem to carry a lot of their "stuff" so it works great. I just brought it on vacation and it was the perfect carry on - but also a great tote for other excursions. I purchased a discontinued color at ebags.com and saved money.

i'd already gotten the lowepro so didn't think a crumpler was going to be in my life.
then my dh is a super shopper--the other night he came charging up to my office to ask me if I wanted the 6 million dollar home in red or purple for $45 including shipping. so I said yes ![]() it was from steepandcheap.com --- i think you sign up to get notifications of what they're selling and have like 20 minutes to make the decision. just asked him about it and he said that lots of times they rerun items.

I have to chime in with Debi on the Crumplers. When I use mine, it doubles as a purse. (I am a minimalist though - lipgloss, driver's license, credit card and keys). I have th $5m and love it. Not too big, and feels like a good sized purse. If you get a slightly larger one than you need, you can also grow into it. I love mine!

I have the $6 Million and use it as my purse/camera bag as well. It fits my 30D body with the 50 1.4 with plenty of room for my 17-40mm (which is a bit big and definitely wide), my speedlight, battery charger, card holder, cloth, wallet, and phone with a bit of room to spare. The only issue I have is that my lens hood has to be taken off the 17-40 to get it to fit in comfortably. It can also get a bit heavy to carry around for a long time which makes a backpack a better choice for me if I'm lugging everything.
It is such a pretty bag though!

I'm totally eyeing the Crumpler $6 or $7 mill home . . . but I do not think it is overkill and the reason is because I have learned from experience that carrying TWO bags (even camera bag + purse) is a big pain! It really limits me. So when I go for an outing, I want everything in one bag. And you hear people say that grow OUT of small camera bags but you never hear people say the can't grow into one! hahaha. I have two camera bags that I have grown out of with my lenses + wallet + cell + baby wipes (always carry those and my kids are 8 and 6!)---so my next bag is gonna be comfy and BIG. Just my thoughts. =)

I have the 6 Million Dollar Crumpler and I absolutely adore it! I'm able to fit my Canon 30D, external flash and a couple of lenses in it and still have room for a wallet, iPhone, etc. It seems that there is always a nook or cranny somewhere in it that I can fit more into!
Check out http://www.cambags.com/ ... they have photos submitted by real people showing what they are able to fit into each model ... something I found very useful when deciding which size to buy myself.
