There was a thread recently about transporting your laptop on a plane. I learned the best way for me is to take it in my carry on. But what about your camera? I'm leaving on a bit of a trip this week and I'm a bit concerned about taking my camera - I've traveled with it a lot but I have always used my camera bag as my carry on. I haven't taken my DSLR and my computer on a plane before. What do you suggest when I can only have one carry on and I need my laptop. Should I just take my point and shoot or find a way for my DSLR? I'm not going anywhere that I really need my DSLR.
Suggestions? Thanks |

I bought a carry on bag that has enough room for both my laptop and my camera. It also has wheels, which is nice because camera gear and a laptop together can be heavy. I put both the laptop and the camera into the bag in their respective bags so they are well protected. The carry-on opens from the top so you can easily get your laptop out at security.
