Default Nikon SB600 Flash

I'm using the Nikon SB600 Flash with my D70 camera and I'm having trouble with it giving 3 "warning" flashes before actually discharging the flash. I've tried changing the settings on my camera (usually shoot in Manual or Aperture Priority mode) and on my flash (TTL) but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, how did you resolve it?

Thanks,

Michelle

I have no clue, but is this a red eye thing? Are the batteries good? Sorry not to be more help!

Definitely sounds like you've got red eye reduction on. You'll need to change that on your camera. I'll pull out my D70s in a bit and tell you where if you need me to.
