Hi ladies - a friend from church owns a construction business, builds huge beautiful homes - he asked me a while back if I would take some pics of some of the detail of one of their new homes maybe for printing flyers or website - I did, he loved the pics - he approached me today with a request of something I have never done. In his message he reffered to my "custom work", that's a gallery in my website of greeting cards/storyboards - well here is what he said:
Can you put together a suggested “collage”/grouping of the Cambridge pics that I might consider getting put on a large print, even possible separate pics as you have done on some of your custom work for me to display in our conference room. I will want to do the same thing with the other house we spoke of. I am looking for something that shows our work but is put in a very presentable format. I'm up for the challange but it makes me nervous since I have never done anything like this - here is what I invision - A large scale framed print, collage of some of the best of the pictures I took randomly placed and different sizes - black background, each image with a framed edge with some shadowing detail and incorporate his logo? Am I on the right track? Do I look at it as a storyboard for archetectural design instead of people? I'm thinking I need to keep it simple? Here is my photography website if you want to take a look since he reffered to my custom work (???): Lnphotographyanddesign.com Any suggestions would very much be appreciated! |

I think you are on the right track when you referred to "a storyboard with architectural pictures instead of people"! I just finished looking through the November Martha Stewart magazine-grab a pile of those at the library and I'm sure you'll get some ideas! Sounds like a whole lot of fun!
