question about file size

Hi, I'm trying to enter a photo into a contest and it's got to be atleast 3MB and mine is 2.8. There is nothing I can do is there?

Gosh, I bet Cassie could answer this better than me, but what would happen if you save it at a higher ppi? Most places want 300 ppi though. Hmmm....I would consider submitting it anyway! 2.8 is close to 3! Good luck!

Well, one quick way would be to open the jpg in PS or PSE, then go to File > Save As and save it as another jpg, but when prompted, make the quality 12 (highest quality). That should increase the size for you.

Thank you ladies. I will try it and let you know if it worked. I did try to submit it and it wouldn't accept it.
