Default I FELL! (pageant results)

So I am the person that no one wants to be - the one who falls down in a pageant - in swimsuit no less! I did not fall down on my butt - but it was close. I managed to pull off 3rd runner-up and the Community Involvement and Directors' Awards. The Directors' Award is a good one because it means you have potential to win with a little more polish/practice. I was hoping to place higher but there were some girls with a lot of experience and of course I FELL in swimsuit .
The crowd was great when I fell though - lots of cheering - and several people (besides my family) told me I had the best on-stage interview.
If you want to see photos you can go to fleshmanphotography.com. And yes - that is me WITH a tan .
So thank you for your positive thoughts and wishes - I definitely have the pageant bug & will try again whenever it works for my family.
Thanks!

You know what, Lisa? If I could look like you do in a bathing suit, I'd volunteer to enter pageants where falling was a REQUIREMENT.

Congratulations to you!

Falling in the swimsuit - that would definitely be something I would do too! But, unlike me, you must have totally wow-ed everyone to do so well. Congrats!!

You look amazing Lisa! I agree with Cassie's comment!
If it's any consolation prize, Better Homes & Garden's thinks you're a winner. Their new Page Planner magazine is filled with your layouts! Check out their promo page:

(for everyone else, the fantastic lo on the right is Lisa's. One of MANY of hers included in the book). Congratulations on the Mrs. Ohio competition and the book!

You should get a complimentary copy in the mail soon. Sometimes it takes a little longer to get the copy, but if you're in the issue, you'll get a copy.
