All the bears are now home...hooray!
Best of all, baby bear is asleep after eating two tlb of tomato soup - her choice of meal, albeit a reluctant choice.
Papa bear has taken himself to bed also and I am going to sleep downstairs tonight just to be sure she doesn't fall during the night. Actually she is getting her sea legs a bit now. She has to go back to the hospital for one shot tomorrow...24 hrs after discharge. Geesh... Dick may do this as I'm 'letting' him go to Florida to bike for a week. One on one will be good for this first week - I hope and pray. Many many thanks to everyone for all your care and concern. We all are blessed.

I am sleeping downstairs one more night but hour by hour Liz is getting more mobile. Reluctantly but she can go to the bathroom on her own, holding on to this and that less and less. She wants to sleep still but this evening, after Dick went out...I said go, right now, I am cherishing the quiet time in the house after sitting so long in the hospital...well I went in, and said she'd need to get up soon to sit up a bit before her 'dinner'. She actually asked for rice! that's my Thai girl!
I hate to watch her steel herself for the pills but bless her she got the last batch of 6 down hidden in applesauce. The last two to take have at least a bit of a coating but the ones that are in 3x a day with decreasing doses are uncoated like aspirin. Ya gotta be quick. I actually got one scrap page done today. It was going to be about the 'explosion' of events, but with a bit more hindsight I see how very very fortunate we were. The light of the spirit was all about.
