I really enjoyed the trip out to Red Rock! It's so cool to see and I would do that again. Just walk through the casinos, the decor is amazing, you will love just looking around. Grab a show if you can, they are all cool!

My suggestions as well, Anke. I love to go through the different hotels (the gardens at the Bellagio is a must) and I HAVE to see a show. Margaritaville is a fun place to eat near the strip. I'm sure Elena will chime in here soon and give you ideas for all the great "off the beaten path" places to see as well. Have fun!

Yes, many photo opportunities just walking through the fancy, theme hotels. I second the mention of the gardens at the Bellagio. Bring comfortable walking shoes!

I loved it all - especially just walking up and down the strip...during the day and at night to see all of the lights I of course was a huge fan of the wax museum at the Venetian - lol. If I went again, I'd really make an effort to get to one of the shows.

Just walking into all the different hotels and see the decor is a real treat!!!
Then there's the shopping... And the lights at night... The fountains and the gardens...
So much to see!!! Usually not enough time...

I've only been once - for a 50th wedding anniversary - and was sicker than a dog with a sinus infection but ....I'd say meet Elena!

Then be sure to see the water and light show at Bellagio. Even in my sick state I found that beautiful as well as the real artwork in the hotel.

Also remember that the sound of the machines in the casino is specifically designed to increase your heart rate so being outside periodically is really important. We enjoyed our visit to Hoover Dam a lot.

You will NOT be bored! Go inside all the "big-name" hotels... these each offer something unique and wonderful! Bellagio inside (Chihuly glass ceiling and the gardens) and the fountain 'show' outside... a must-see! The Venetian is sooooo cool with lots of good eating spots and shopping. Caesar's just 'cuz it's Caesar's! And the new City Center is incredible... HUGE and modern, but amazing in its architecture and design! And, that's just the tip of the iceberg... nope, you will NOT be bored!

P.S. Merr's right... GOOD walking shoes AND your camera!

Yes! Ditto to this whole comment! My DH and I saw the Beatles "LOVE" Cirque show (at the Mirage) when we were there last March. It was SO FABULOUS!!! It was worth every penny!

We went to Vegas just over a year ago and also saw LOVE at the Mirage - fabulous! We were there for 4 days and didn't gamble once. We alternated our time between relaxing in the shade at the pool and dining out. For casual dining - definitely check out Burger Bar - we ate there twice!

I would try to visit the Neon Museum. It's a bit outside of downtown but offers some really great photo opportunities. You need to get your ticket in advance... Google it. It was my favorite visit on our last trip there.

my bestie & I went this past August. We hit the Sigfried & Roy Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat. We did the backstage tour & got to pet the dolphin (WOW!!!) We hit Max Brenner (chocolate man..oh MAN), went to Madame Tussauds (at the Venetian), went to the Titanic exhibit at the Luxor (I think), Fremont St, Jean-Philippe chocolates at the Bellagio, we toured M&M's World & we were only there 3 days. lmao
and I know I'm forgetting some things we did.
