Happy News from Mesa!
It was a surprise to us as well as to them...but there is going to be a new baby in Mesa this June! Rich and Sharlah are pregnant!!
Sharlah let us know their news just before Christmas and they were both surprised and awed. God does move in mysterious ways and I think this is the change that will allow them to continue to look forward with a little less regret and looking back each day. Sharlah is in her early 40s so the doctor is keeping an eye on her, especially as she has had trouble with staying pregnant in the past. But it's been so good to hear the hope and joy in her voice again. I know they both have a lot of love to give, and I have no doubt that this baby will be the recipient of oodles of it. I'm so glad to share some good news with you all!

Yes, those prayers are still welcome. They know there is a risk for Down's syndrome, but will go ahead with the pregnancy no matter what.
