Default So what's everyone doing today?

I am making chocolate macaroons & sugar cookies with Chloe, then around four pm we are going to my mom's care facility to spend Christmas eve with her. I so wish i didn't have stairs right from my front door up to my living room so she could come here. Then its home for all the Santa prep -cookies, story, hanging stockings.

Good morning, Heather! I'm making a list of what I need for Christmas dinner, which we're having here tomorrow with friends and family. I am totally procrastinating going shopping, because I do not want to face the crowds and the parking lots!
Then I'll put on some Christmas music while I make fudge and bake pies.
The weather here is absolutely nuts for December 24; sunny and 56F!!!

Enjoy your day!

It's cold and raining today. Staying in and watching movies and reading books. Church tonight!

Both of my boys are home and we just made home made gnocchi...a Christmas Eve tradition in our house! Having a fairly early dinner and then going to our friend's home for dessert, as they are celebrating Hanukkah.

going crazy! No, not really. I got everything wrapped, cookies are made, all I have to do is hang the stockings and make our dinner for tonight. Mass is at 9, I'm in the choir and I always look forward to that! It's going to be a late night, as I have to get all the presents out after we get back and fill all the stockings and Christmas plates I love it though!

we did lots of stuff today. the big day is today in germany. we shopped everything for the dinners to come, i made a big chocolate cake, we made our favorite christmas eve dinner: gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce, while hubby wrapped his last gifts, i prepared for christmas photo-shoot, scrapped half of the day for the layout, we shot the photos with lots of fun and now hubby is dj-ing our evening while i have to wrap the last christmas gifts. in some minutes we will exchange our gifts. in the days to come we meet the family.
so far so good :-)
have a nice christmas eve!

I cooked all day while listening to Christmas music. We'll be with one son and family tonight and another son and family tomorrow. I'm feeling ready and relaxed and blessed.

Heather, this will be the first Christmas in several years that we have not had a parent to visit on Christmas Eve. My mil died in November. I, too, always felt bad that our house was not wheel chair accessible. You have to do what you can...you're a good daughter.
