Default Dance recital with a twisted ankle
Friday I took my girls to a friends house to see/meet her new little bundle of joy!! My DD decided to jump on the couch to try and get the sticky spider off of the ceiling so all the kids could play with it. After being told countless times to never jump on furniture, she now has an idea of why mom and dad always say this! I heard a pop followed by tears, she twisted her ankle and could barely walk! To add to everything, yesterday was her dance recital and I had rented the 70-200 f/2.8 lens!! She was a big trooper and went up on stage in front of nearly 1000 people hopping along! I'm so proud of her!! What a trooper!

Ack! I can just imagine that "pop" sound. Poor thing. Lesson learned the hard way! I hope her ankle mends soon.

Eeeek, the poor thing!!! I hope her ankle will get better soon! To hear a pop, it must have been pretty bad! You did get pictures, right?

Oh no! Impressive, that she still went on stage, however. I hope she is doing okay as I am sure it is painful.
