Default Just checking in

I've been missing in action for the last few months and will probably be missing for at least another month or so.

The last couple of months have been like this for me:

I had two separate foot surgeries, the last one being a month ago today. Still recovering.

I've been sick twice with stupid sinus infections and coughing my head off. The coughing was so bad I tore the cartilage in my chest and have been in excruciating pain. Still not better.

My dad had surgery for bladder cancer, had a complication and almost bled to death. I spent two days with him and my mom at the hospital.

My assistant was out for 5 weeks to care for her ailing mother.

Then my dearly beloved husband had a heart attack on 11/17. He is fine now--had stent put in. Follows up with the cardiologist this week.

For the next two weeks I'll be traveling with my job.

I have no idea when I'll get Christmas decorations up much less have time to scrap.

I do stop in and check the forum on occasion just to check to see what's up.

Wishing all of you a very blessed holiday season.

Holy moly, Terry! I'm so sorry to read of everything that's been going on with you, and am glad to read that Craig is okay. Here's hoping for a joyous and peaceful Christmas season for you and yours.

Terry, I knew you were far from footloose with those surgeries but man, you got a whammy of a time!

So glad to hear you and Craig are now ok. Lots of love, and lots of virtual hugs!

Terry, I just this morning thought of you and wondered what could be keeping you from scrapping. Now, I find this thread! I am so sorry for all that has come crashing down around you this past month. Thankfully, Craig got the help he needed with stent surgery. I pray he continues to do well and that you will stay well after all this stress. I miss seeing scrapbook pages about your life, but, I will be patient until you arrive at a time and place that is more conducive to scrapping. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
