Oh, my, Heather, that book is so poignant and sweet. Seeing it this week after just saying final good-byes to my mil who passed away peacefully at age 95, almost 96, it is especially meaningful. TFS.

Really beautiful Heather. I have a few friends with 90something parents and how they each deal with their last years has been fascinating. Some do well, and some don't at all.

Thanks so much for sharing the book, Heather. My beautiful mother, who passed on 5 years ago, would have been tickled pink had she lived to see this birthday. She was born at 11 a.m. on the 11th of Nov. This year would have been 11/11/11/11. Happy birthday anyway, Mom!

I saw that posted somewhere last year. I have revisited it many times. It is so profoundly moving!

thankyou so much for sharing that Heather. I slowly read each page, thinking about my elder family members. Such a beautiful act of love to document.

It is on my bookshelf, I pass it many times each day. Great reminder of living in the Moment.

I also saw this last year and visit the site many times. My Mum has advanced dementia and it has inspired me on how to take photos of her journey.

if I could only see through these tears.. what an amazing journey, what amazing photos..
I left this message saying 'my husband, two children and I emigrated to Australia from London 37yrs ago, consequently I realize now that I never real 'knew' my parents or siblings, I can't say that I am sorry about that, but just that you are priveleged to have had this wonderful relationship with yours.. Your story brought tears to my eyes, not only for your loss, but for mine too.. Thank you'

I'm so glad you shared this... I was actually thinking about this book last week. I'd seen it before, but hadn't 'bookmarked' it... it's truly a labor of quiet, undying love... thank you.
