Default that cry

You know that one, the one from pain? That's what I heard from Chloe today We were waiting on a corner to cross the street and out of nowhere she screamed and started crying, then she yelled "I got stung"!! The poor thing got stung on the hand by a wasp. She was just sobbing. I went into starbucks and grabbed some ice and soon she felt better, but oh do I hate to see her hurt.

I remember when my Rachel got stung on top of her head and the dang thing was stuck in her hair and she kept holding her hand on it..... she screamed bloody murder and it took us forever to get that wasp out of her hair!!! Good thing you had the where-withall to run into Starbucks for that ice! Clear thinking, Mom!!!

OH my goodness.....that is sure too bad. The wasps are so bad here this fall. I got stung 2 weeks ago and ended up going to the Dr. twice. It was on the back of my leg and it swelled up so badly. I had to be on antibiotics....so it's nothing to fool around with. Now...as an afterthough we are wondering if it might have been a spider bite....anyway it hurt like crazy.

Oh, that poor thing... I remember I got stung when I was a little girl - it hurt!

My boyfriend is allergic to wasp, and needs to carry adrenalin with him at all times... That's a little scary.

I hate bee stings in the fall. I am glad to hear she has recovered quickly.

Oh yuck, they're rotten just now, they follow you around, several of Amy's wee friends have been stung as they're waiting to go in to school. Hoping they'll all die off soon.

Poor Chloe! I hate wasps!! My most memorable wasp story is from when our son was 4 years old. He was out on the deck and came in to tell me that a wasp had "kissed" him. There were no tears. I was completely amazed!
