Default Finally!!

My pups are getting along somewhat! It has taken nearly an entire month. We though we were going to have to give her back, it was pretty close. Sawyer was vicious and scary and not our happy well behaved dog at all. But the last few days they are together with only play fighting, drinking out of the same water dish and playing ball together! The stress level in our house was insane, especially around Chloe & the dogs, i didn't want her to get bit, etc. But we are all doing better

Argh, these pets! I'm pleased things are improving. Our siamese kittens are finally making some progress with our 12 year old Siamese cat. It was difficult a month ago too. She would hiss at them when they got too close to her. She tries to play with them now but I think she has forgotten how to!

so glad to hear it Heather. Sure makes life easier for you. We've had Bailey 2.5 months now---our other two get along with her fine now. although, there are those moments when Reggie asserts her Queen Bee attitude.

Good news, Heather. I know what you mean about introducing a new pet to a household...so stressful! Glad everything is moving in the right direction.

That's great Heather, and theyll still have their tiffs but Sawyer must finally be comfortable that he is top dog and She understand that perhaps.

Even still after all these years with Lucky here at home, we still feed Lucky and Molly separately. As wonderfully as they get on, all bets are off where food is concerned, so don't get complacent. Particularly if one is a snarfer and one is a grazer and the snarfer thinks the grazer gets more LOL.

I'm really glad to hear you've turned a corner, that's great news.

thanks! we are not out of the woods yet, that puppy Lila is a crazy ball of energy and sometimes she drives sawyer crazy so we have to give him a break sometimes and just pen her. Yeah you are so right about not getting complacent!

Enjoy the relative moments of peace on the pet front while you have it! Pets, children...we all know how each day is different!
