Hmmmm nope, not a yoghurt girl. I make a pretty horrendous yoghurt face when I try to eat it.

I love it, discovered it for breakfast while on holiday a few years ago. I don't buy it often as Peter doesn't like yoghurt at all, but it is yummy

I love it too! reminds me of the yoghurt I used to have in Iran and other parts of the middle east. My Tehran local greengrocer also sold yoghurt and you got it in a red plastic bowl, which you returned the next day for a new bowl of yogurt. Bigger families just got more bowls. Getting daily yoghurt was as much of a staple as getting fresh bread a couple of times a day. Naan bread.
In addition to having the yoghurt on savoury food, I have it for summer breakfast with granola and fresh fruit. Winters, I 'm back to oatmeal that I add dried nuts and fruit to. I'll have to think about adding a dollop of the greek yoghurt too. btw, I just tried Wegmans' Plain LowFat yoghurt and it is excellent. Almost no additives. They don't seem to sell whole milk plain but the low fat was not at all watery.

I eat non-fat plain Greek yogurt for breakfast every morning. The taste by itself is a bit harsh, but I add a small splash of vanilla, and fresh fruit. Today was strawberries and raspberries. Yum! I don't even consider buying flavored yogurt anymore.

I adore it. I compared it to regular and it has about double the protein. I love just putting in vanilla or fruit and oat bran - yum.

I love it in my smoothies, also in my chicken salad instead of mayo and on my tacos/ burritos instead of sour cream
Very handy stuff!

You can "make" Greek yogurt (if you can't find it---it's hard for me to get the plain variety here) by straining regular plain yogurt through cheesecloth for a while. It's not the same but it gives you a similar consistency if that's what you're going for.
I can't eat any kind of yogurt. It's a texture thing. But I do make tzatziki for hubby when we have chicken souvlaki . . . best recipe ever. He says it's better than the tzatziki he had when he lived in Turkey. I use dried dill, 1 tsp. You can adjust to preference. The Greek seasoning we get here is Cavender's.

I love tzatziki Sarah! and would eat the whole recipe if I made it often.
Sara, I get the Stonyfield brand at Shoppers Food Warehouse, one of my cheaper local grocers. I think it's still $4. something a quart. (btw, one yogurt I will not buy or eat is the Safeway brand. Way too much gelatin for me and it's still like thickened skim milk. I'd rather eat calcium pills/Tums! ymmv cause Safeway still sells it!)
