Okay...I have never tried it, so someone tell me before I get all excited....if it's this good it has to have more fat grams than the yoplait nonfat version, right?

OK, I know this is very naughty, but I find the higher the fat content, the yummier it is. 10% fat is sooooo creamy and lovely and my absolute favourite, but 3% is nice too and much better for the hips.

The higher the fat content the less you need to eat. n.b. I said need! I look for as few chemicals as I can when I buy such products.

I adore it and the bonus is that it has twice the protien in regular yogurt, so it keeps you satisfied for a long time. Now if the price would just come down to that of regular yogurt, I'd be a real happy camper!

Kathie, look for the one that has 0% on the label. In addition to the nutritional label, it will be right on the front of the carton somewhere.

Kathie, the Dannon Oikos nonfat is nonfat - 0 grams of fat It's really good and I read that if you put Truvia in it, one of the ingredients of the Truvia makes the good bacteria *stick* better and you get more benefit from the active cultures. Win-win!

Sara, I was wrong about the brand. I buy Cabot, yes the cheese Cabots, and it's 290 calories for a cup which is a good good size!

ooooh love Cabot cheese, Maureen!
The Dannon one is only 120 calories per cup. Wonder if the Cabot's has more fat or something?

Can I just say how jealous I am that you have a Wegman's near you Maureen?!?! I'm originally from upstate New York (near Rochester) where Wegmans began and whenever we visit I MUST make several trips to Wegmans. So, so, SO wish Danny Wegman would expand to Ohio!

I eat non-fat Chobani almost every morning, but not the plain, always with fruit.

My introduction to yoghurt was the truly fresh kind in the Middle East. I balked at first but since I could eat sour cream out of the tub I was a natural sell. I love tangy foods and I think that's why I really have little interest in the sugar added flavored kind.

Pattie, I feel your pain. I first saw a Wegmans in upstate NY and almost had a heart attack! OMG the goodies, and the good prices on staples. However, NY is a long way to go for groceries. Then the finally moved down my way - sort of. One up north of Baltimore, and two in VA. When I visited my son in VA, I used to hit Wegmans, and the big SuperH Asian store. I would drive home in an exhausted stupor. I prayed to the cooking goddesses that they would feel we had enough $$$s in our area to merit one.

Now the closest is still nearly 25 miles away, right at the DC beltway. I guess they figured they could grab the whole DC Metro area with that one. Since the weather is getting cooler, I may make the jaunt more often. Wegmans has a Cosco in the same mall, and there are Michaels and AC Moore stores on the way home. I can easily fill my VW Golf to the brim! and melt the credit cards.
