I wish there was one in my area. I looked into it and there's nothing...I may have to take a nice scenic photo walk on my own.

My DH and I do what we fondly call our "Garmin Trips". We head out into the country and follow roads on our Garmin. I tend to look for water - but any road that we don't think we have been on will do. We love dirt roads that lead to nowhere. We both take pictures. He has a great camera - I have a point and shoot - then we see who gets the best photos. It's funny - we take totally different types of pictures. We have a great time!

I've been watching new walks pop up but there's only 3 in my state, the nearest being 2 hours away and in the same place as I went to last year. Was hoping to go somewhere different this year, so I'm still checking every couple of days to see if there's a new one pop up.

For those who have never taken part in one before I highly recommend it. Make new friends, see things in a different way, loads of fun. I joined one in my old home town last year and it was brilliant to see my old stomping ground through fresh eyes. Plus I was very brave and joined it knowing no one who was taking part. So glad I put myself out on a limb.

I have been to these photowalk the previous two years and it is so much fun! I have checked out the walks around here and neither one of them will for me... I am hoping someone will set up another group quickly that I can sign up to....

I was so disappointed that we had plans that day and won't be around. I was hoping to make it into Scott's walk this year! I hope everyone enjoys their time.

justbnsharon... randy and I do that too! and we call her "Garmina" for the feminine [if you want to call it that] voice! love that!

Sad to miss the walk but I'll be in Vermont shooting the fall colors the first week of October.

OOOoooohhh, not so sure you are REALLY missing out on anything. I'd rather be with you in Vermont shooting leaves. Good for you!

This will be my third year doing the Scott Kelby walk. There's actually one in Orlando this year, so I'm excited. Also excited that it's not in HOT July. That's not to say it will be cool in October, but maybe it won't be 90 degrees!

I signed up for one about an hour away. There doesn't seem to be one in my town this year, but it will be fun to visit a different place, anyway

I think our local photography club is going to have one again this year. I really enjoyed doing it last year!
