Default DD "Families"

We are all one big family here at DD, but some of us are closer than some of you might think. All the fun we've been having in the forums lately brought me to start this thread as well.

I am Cassie's (1gr8muggle) big sister . . . ehem, I mean older and wiser sister. (All the bantering between us in the forum is out of love not snottiness.) I would love to know how many of you are related outside of DD.

Great thread Kelly! I think it is really nice that there are ACTUAL family members hanging out here.... and I feel like a bunch of you are my sisters (and brother).

Aino, you are absolutely like family. You've seen me in a state of undress, which means you qualify.

Oops. Did I say that in public?

I wish I could convince some family members to scrapbook... but they all look to me to fill that spot.

I love all the relationships here! Blood or not we are one big happy family

My sister has started digiscrapping. She's actually done it for almost 2 years now!
But she will not show her stuff in any galleries or be a member in any forum...
She says she's not confident enough for that, and especially not for DD...
I say it's just a question of time until she's a member here!

Karen (oswegograd) is my daughter-in-law. She introduced me to paper scrapping way back in 1997 when we became friends and I was matchmaking between her and Marc. I thought it was only fitting I should introduce her to digital when I made the switch -- now she's a convert!

I feel so fortunate to have sisters (and a brother) around the world here at DD.

I know neonglow (Brent) was here for a while, he's been gone for a while and no updates on his blog or website in quite a long time.

MerryMac is married to my Dad's cousin. Dad had no siblings, so he is close to his three cousins. So MerryMac is like an aunt - a young one
A male work colleague was active here for a while - snibber.
As for other men - Bill (drnike50) posted here recently after a long absence from the gallery. Great to see him back! And we have newcomer steven taylor

I don't have any siblings 'out there' so obviously not in here. Heck, I don't even KNOW another digital scrapper 'out there'. I wish I could lure my granddaughters into this world. Maybe one day.

Terry, as soon as I finish paying for Mark's dental bills will draw up a contract. :O)
Myra, I didn't know that! :O) Thess, we'll all think good thoughts and lure her over.
Esther, that's family to me and Maureen, you've got us. :O)

As for the male scrappers...
I am a fan of DrNike - have not seen him around.... is he still posting?? Bill, are you around??

And I remember neonglow and his cool style - but that's been a while.

And then there is Randy of course, who is behind the scenes, taking care of us.
