Our power, tv and Internet are still out so we decided to find a restaurant with power... Tried to get out of our neighborhood and all roads were blocked with downed trees and power lines... Only way out was a dirt road... Hearing school may be cancelled...

Just got the call-- no school tomorrow... And still no power, tv or Internet... I feel soooo disconnected... And AT&T 3G is running so slow from overload that it's hard to do much...

Donna hope your house continues to stay dry and your neighbors don't suffer too much damage. Katie you are so right....we seem lost without our power tv and internet. Glad you were able to check in and hope you get your power back soon. Not much in my area just heavy wind and rain all night. Never lost power. A co-workers basement flooded she's a little further north than me. Watching CNN and it looks like Vermont is getting hit pretty good right now....lots of flooding.

A nice thought Maureen but luckily the 1st floor is powered by a generator so I've been very productive today creating new products... I'm realizing just how much time I must spend surfing the net, emailing etc

Hopefully we will have power in the morning

Hope your power comes back on soon, Katie -- you're right about realizing how tied we are to everything online -- all it takes is a power outage.

Hope all of you are okay!! And hope power is back! My boyfriend is in North Carolina...in a hotel...they were without power for like 36 hours. The hotel is on the same power grid as a hospital...so I am willing to bet there are still folks without power even now. Hoping this will be the only "big" hurricane of the season...seems as though so much of the US has had to deal with lots and lots of water this year...we have been lucky here in nothern CA...

Still no power, tv or Internet but land lines are back on... Roads are still closed... Happy thoughts!
