Default Glasgow becomes Philadelphia!

My home town is host to World War Z at the moment, so the centre of Glasgow has been transformed into Philadelphia! It was weird today to see Glasgow with the American flag flying, American street signs and American cars. There are some photographs on my blog: celebrateanordinarylife Sadly Brad wasn't around he's ensconced with his family on a country estate far from the paps, but I've heard from those who have met him that he is charming and friendly and not a pain, handsome and charming - who knew!

The College I work in is where all the extras are, so part of our car park has been taken over by big trailers and all the paraphernalia that comes with filming, and our TV/film production students have been employed as runners and crew members, going to look impressive on their CVs.

Looks very American Fiona, tho Philadelphia? I'm not sure about that. Perhaps Brad and flock will be seen later in the filming. You can be our 'star spotter'.

I heard he's back on set on Tuesday Wish I had a chance to wander up and have a nosey. I think he's staying not far from me in Ayrshire, everyone's talking about it.

Oh, how fun! I've been to Glasgow a couple of times, so it seems too funny to me to see George Square "mask"-erading as the city of brotherly love (Philly)! Glasgow City Chambers does a passable imitation of the Philadelphia City Hall, LOL! (But no Ben Franklin on top!)

How funny, particularly that someone has put a witches hat on the statue of the horse rider.

Phyllis come back and tell the story.

Teehee Carolee, that statue *always* has a traffic cone on top of it, not just for Brad lol. It's just one of those things.

Yup Phyllis, we need to know.
