I've been doing nothing but scrapping the past week---taking pictures, too. This weekend I should probably devote some time to housework! We also got our Dexter disc from Netflix, so we'll watch the next two episodes over the weekend.

This weekend is an annual fund raiser Pro Am golf tournament starting tonight with a great dinner, auction, calcutta and then golf for two days.

I'm golfing on a team tomorrow with DH and then DH is golfing Sunday. I'm taking pictures on Sunday.

I need to get after it and get some scrapping done. I received a 50% off coupon from Shutterfly and would love to get the album finished by Monday night so I can take advantage of the savings.

I'm going to mop some floors tonight, then I guess all time when kids are asleep will be spent planning for school start (I'm a teacher) on Monday. I'm not very optimistic about getting scrapping done for a couple of weeks. But I'm going to need a couple of things coming to the store this weekend anyway.

Hopefully some scrapping at night like usual
Might swim in the pool while it's still warm enough. If the rain stays away on Saturday we might try the zoo... shhh... don't tell the kids yet And then a baby shower to go to on Sunday.

Me - my life is dull and uneventful which isn't all that bad. I'll be spending time with Mamaw tv, meals, etc. I'll clean a little bit! I'll read a little bit ...she'll tell me stories of when I was little or from when she was little and when she doses off.. and when the sale starts tomorrow morning I'll be looking at all the new product ... do I get it ... do I wait... then you guys will post a page with incredible stuff that I will want and I'll add it to my cart and before I get done typing and/or clicking enter there will be another great page that says "LIFT ME" some day I hope its a lot later than sooner I'll get in my car hop a train.. hop a bus ... and board a plane and head to destinations unknown. I hope to get caught up on my scrapbook pages of the day... have a few to do ... waiting on the sale is driving me nuts ... not that I have very far to go!

Packing up tonight. Driving home w boys tomorrow from what was an unexpected trip just 12hrs after another trip. Hoping to walk in the house and collapse but seems my husband's quick flooring project in the den has not gone well. He tells me a bookshelf fell apart. I think this means things are not all stacked up against a wall. And he hasnt even started to put down flooring. I may just hide in bed.

We're up at the cabin for the weekend, so I'm planning to relax on the dock or deck and read, scrap my niece's wedding album and finish tiling the backsplash in the kitchen.

We're having a quiet weekend after Amy's first week at school - we were all asleep by half 8 last night!

Hopefully I'll get time to scrap her first day piccies, I've had my chosen template open for 2 days now lol. Other than that just doing the shopping this morning and going swimming tomorrow morning.

We are visiting friends this evening, and then hosting a party here for friends who are moving to Canada. Sad but busy weekend.

Oiling my soapstone counters - and giving them time to soak in which means no cooking for a day. Picking up my new compost bin - yeah! - going to a picnic Saturday , and hopefully canning some peaches after those countertops are ready. Finally, thinking about whether I want to do digital pages or a hybrid journal about my upcoming solo trip to Florida. Road trip ahead!

right now i'm reading the local newspapers online re: a flash flood about 5 miles from my house yesterday afternoon. we had parts of the road covered in 9 FEET of water. it just rained a tiny bit at my house. one woman and her two young girls were drowned and another lady is missing. cars were floating, overturned, submerged. unbelievable.

I hard about the floods in I believe Pennsylvania/Pittsburgh area?

My weekend is made up of ferrying DD to two birthday parties (ok - i did squeeze in a mommy drink at last nights!) and working - big project at work which means no time for anything but finding a way to get too much work done in too little time... no scrapping for me - but I'm still shopping away in the store! :-)

I just saw the article this morning, heard it on the news yesterday too. That is just horrible!!! Stay dry!
I just finished ripping the carpet out of DS's room, I had to get those strips out this morning yet. A couple more rooms to be done and then I'll get somebody to refinish them. That carpet must have been from the days of Caesar....
Planning on a quick shower, going out to the pool for a while and then get ready for dinner with friends tonight. Fun for a change!

we had one of these weird localized storms a few years ago, too, and it was a disaster, too. one moment you're driving down the road., the next moment, you're in the river! well, Pittsburgh is nothing if not unusual....

Soccer season starts this weekend! Two games this weekend and two church related potlucks. And on Sunday I'll be taking Jackie to watch a horse show. Busy in some ways but still a bit of down time - and time a DD on Saturday as I get a chance.
