Default Minivan recommendations

Minivan or large SUV. I think I might be in the market for a new vehicles and I don't know what to look into. I have a Toyota Sienna now and want to get something different. Does anybody have any suggestions? I have three kids and often have their friends in the car, plus it would have to be comfortable for traveling... any ideas?

The one with the best gas mileage?

and no, I've never owned either. My only experience was with a 12 week (!) federal trial where a Ford mini-van turned over.

We have a Honda Odyssey and love it! My mom just purchased a Buick Enclave and that seems to be a nice family car. A bit sportier than a minivan, but not quite as big as a large SUV. Have fun shopping!!

We have a Toyota Sienna and it is an awesome van The powered doors are worth every penny when I have a handful (which is always). The gas mileage is great too.

I have a Toyota Sienna, also, and would buy another one in a heartbeat. Our son and daughter-in-law have a Honda Odyssey and love it.

I have the Toyota Sienna right now, it's an '04 and I really need the all wheel drive, so I bought the more expensive version with the run flat tires. I hate them! They don't last and are really expensive, so I bought regular tires and have a spare in the trunk.... I always liked the Sienna except for that big problem (for me). Are there any cool SUVs that are big enough and don't suck up a ton of gas?

22/23 mpg is possible (city driving) in an 2012 SUV without going hybrid. A big improvement over 5 years ago though.

I must be the only minivan single in the group..... I have a Dodge Grand Caravan with stow n go seats. Gets about 28 mpg on the road and about 22 mpg around town. Very comfortable for long road trips, and seats up to 7 adults. The stow n go seats are really handy when I need the back of the van for large items (like a new chair and ottoman) and I don't have to take them out and store them, then put them back in. There's been one of these at my house since the 2nd year they were out, and I love them.
